Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. As an Accounting Clerk, your key role will be to support the accounting operations, act as a backup for AP/AR tasks and provide administrative support throughout the office as needed. Responsibilities: Provide efficient and accurate processing of accounts receivable Manage and reconcile account details Execute billing operations and invoice processing Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and document management tasks Offer detail oriented customer service to municipal clients Show self-motivation by taking up additional tasks around the office with minimal direction Ensure attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks Support accounts payable operations as needed.Requirements Proven experience in Account Reconciliation Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures Demonstrated expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiar with Billing processes and protocols Excellent Data Entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and speed Experience in Invoice Processing, ensuring all transactions are completed within required timeframes Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on providing responsive and efficient service to internal and external stakeholders.
