IT Security Project Manager in Center Valley, PA with one of our top client.Job Title: IT Security Project ManagerJob Id: 21-14172Location: Center Valley, PA 18034Duration: 5 monthsPosition Type: Hourly contract Position (W2 only)Responsibilities- The IT Security Project Manager (PM) will manage IT security related projects for infrastructure and application rollouts, upgrades/replacements, assessments and remediation’s.
- This position will lead, or be involved in, numerous security-related projects which are varied and complex in nature. The PM will have responsibility for project planning, task management, risk/issue identification, cost management and other project related areas.
- Develop and execute action plans for completing projects related to the company's IT Security priorities
- Maintain close relationship with stakeholders; capable of identifying and solving issues in a manner to stay within the project scope
- Break down problems into essential elements, carry out diagnosis and develop solutions
- Track and manage issues and problems; use sound judgment to develop solutions after securing relevant information, relating and comparing data from different sources and considering alternative courses of action
- Create thorough and accurate reports and provide status updates on projects; presenting findings to senior leadership on a routine basis
- Escalate issues to appropriate levels as necessary to ensure that decisions are made timely and with the best interest of the scope and deliverables

- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 7 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 5 years experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in IT Security, Cybersecurity or GRC environments
- Familiarity with security regulatory compliance assessments: NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, GDPR, etc.
- Capable of understanding networking and cybersecurity technologies including Internet proxy devices, anti-virus, firewalls, SEIM/event logging, routers, switches, remote access devices, and change management.
- Experience managing budgets and having financial accountability
- Demonstrated experience using formal Project Management methodologies
- PMP and /or agile Certification preferred, but not required
- Security certifications like CISSP, CISA, CISM would be advantageous
