Interns may also rotate through other Corporate Finance functions, in order to obtain a basic understanding of the duties within each operation.Prepare and / or assist with the monthly and quarterly closing by consolidating the individual results of all subsidiary companies and preparing the appropriate inter-company eliminations (includes verifying foreign currency exchange translation, reconciling intercompany accounts, and ensuring that all locations are loaded into the Hyperion consolidation system on a timely basis).Assist with monthly closing (including preparation of journal entries).Ensure that the monthly and quarterly results reported in Hyperion agree to financial information submitted by operating subsidiaries. Use Global SAP to investigate transaction details for the balances that are reported in Hyperion.Assist in the review of certain monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages submitted by the operating subsidiaries.Perform certain monthly account reconciliations.Perform other duties as assigned (including assisting other finance functions on an as needed basis).The minimum qualifications for this role are:Must possess general knowledge of accounting and Microsoft Office.The successful candidate will have preferably completed a minimum of their sophomore year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a Business Administration - Accounting degree program, or a related field of study.
