Description We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant based in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. This role is essential to our operations and involves a variety of responsibilities, including recruitment, on-boarding, orientation, and data entry into HRIS systems. This is a short-term contract position that offers an opportunity to work within a thriving industry and gain valuable experience.Responsibilities: Manage full life-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviews. Facilitate on-boarding and orientation for new employees to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives. Enter and update employee data in HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy at all times. Utilize HRIS payroll systems to manage employee compensation. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Handle employee relations issues in a confidential and sensitive manner. Implement and administer employee benefit functions. Support the administration of compensation programs, ensuring fairness and compliance. Utilize ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and HRMS for various HR-related tasks. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, maintaining a consistent level of professionalism. Requirements Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Experience with Ceridian and HRMS software Demonstrated understanding of benefit functions Familiarity with compensation administration procedures Knowledge of compliance standards and laws in HR Strong skills in employee relations and conflict resolution Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred Previous experience in an HR role would be advantageous.
