Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for growth with a small CPA firm. We are in search of an external Audit Staff whose key role will be to plan and execute external audits, analyze financial records and maintain strong client relationships. Responsibilities: Conducting comprehensive risk assessments to identify notable areas of concern and customize audit approaches in accordance to unique client needs. Executing external audits, which includes financial statement audits, compliance audits, and agreed-upon procedures engagements. Keeping up to date with alterations in accounting and auditing standards, tax laws, and industry best practices. Reviewing financial records, systems, and processes to ensure their accuracy and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant standards. Preparing in-depth audit workpapers and documentation that corroborate audit findings and conclusions. Collaborating with team members to ensure audit engagements are accomplished within the given timeframe and budget. Communicating audit results to clients, presenting findings, providing recommendations, and addressing any questions or concerns. Maintaining and enhancing client relationships by delivering exceptional service and value.Requirements Candidate must possess at least 1 year of experience in the field of public auditing. Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is a must. Familiarity with Audit Program is required. Ability to perform various Accounting Functions is expected. Experience in handling Audit Engagements is essential. Skill in preparing and executing Audit Plans is required.
