Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. This role is within the telecom industry and involves managing and processing financial transactions and records. This opportunity is a contract position and will require proficiency in several accounting software systems and strong data entry skills.Responsibilities: Process and manage accounts payable transactions Utilize accounting software systems such as Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and Microsoft Excel to manage financial records Perform accounting functions, including check processing and managing accounts receivable Address discrepancies in financial records and transactions Ensure all data entry related to accounts payable is accurate and up-to-date. Requirements Demonstrable experience in the role of Accounts Payable Specialist or a similar position Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) Hands-on experience with IBM AS/400 Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Proficiency in Microsoft Excel In-depth understanding of Accounting Functions Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in Check Processing Data Entry skills Ability to handle Discrepancies Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
