What You Will Do

Gannett Fleming is looking for a bright, hardworking Entry-level Civil Engineer (Transportation/Traffic Engineer) to join our Transportation Operations and Planning Group in the Camp Hill, PA headquarters office. This individual will primarily perform analysis and design activities for traffic, intelligent transportation systems, and transportation planningprojects but may be required to assist other departments as needed. The successful candidate will work closely with his/her supervisor and more experienced project managers, engineers and designers.Responsibilities:

Perform traffic analysis and design tasks, plans preparation, report preparation, and calculations for various transportation projects.

Provide overall assistance in multifaceted transportation projects.

Perform quantity estimates, cost estimates, and prepare specifications.

Check calculations, reports, and drawings

Run traffic analysis models and CAD design software

Willingness to travel both nationally and internationallyEducation | Experience:

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering required, focus in Transportation preferred

Engineer in Training (EIT) strongly desired

0 - 3 years of experience required

Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation strongly desired

Experience with Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, VISSIM, or other traffic analysis software strongly desired

Experience GIS software desired

Previous internship or co-op preferred

Innovative, strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow professionally

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously both independently and also as an integral part of a design team
