Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This role involves managing the books and financial statements for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting principles. This is an on-site position with no requirement for travel.Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for multiple clients, including daily transactions and financial data entry. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness. Compile and prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Handle sales and use tax filings for clients as needed. Utilize QuickBooks for all bookkeeping tasks, ensuring proficiency in its use for managing financial data. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and provide financial insights as required. Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Maintain accurate customer credit records. Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Payroll, QuickBooks.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a bookkeeping role Proficiency in account reconciliation and bookkeeping Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Familiarity with bank reconciliations and month-end close processes Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience with payroll processing Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting purposes Willingness to continue learning and improving accounting skills Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
