Lab. Coordinates and confirms the acquisition of services, equipment, instrumentation and supplies from outside vendors for scheduled surgeries. Prepares and distributes the surgical schedule and on call list to appropriate departments or personnel. Checks, enters and reconciles the daily patient charges. Prepares and distributes the monthly surgical statistics. Updates the Surgery Schedules and completes the required Log Book. Answers phones and appropriately communicates messages. Assists OR Director and Charge Nurse with additional clerical duties. Works with coworkers, other departments and outside companies, assisting with the provision of safe, efficient and quality patient care.QualificationsEducation and Work Experience

Previous experience in a Medical Care Setting.

Knowledge of Medical Terminology

Strong clerical and computer skills.

Command of the English language.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Previous experience in the OR preferred.
