Robern Assembler IWork Mode: OnsiteLocation: Bristol, PAOpportunityPOSITION SUMMARYAssembles, or packs cabinets, doors, and parts, light fixtures in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications, applying knowledge of production methods, processes, hand and/or power tools and equipment. Can cut, punch or saw in accordance to specific measurements and instructions. Check parts for tolerance compliance and quality standards.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Read, interpret bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products Utilize hand held tools such as a hand held staple and screw gun Operate machinery and manual Material Handling Equipment Maintain inventory of product in work stations Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards Identify product defects and take appropriate action when defects are identified Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Responsible for assigned tasks, upward communication for correction. Maintain a clean and safe work area Proficient in 1 or more Manufacturing Areas within 12 months of hireCommunicates company initiatives: Core Competencies, Sustainability, Stewardship, Robern Vision and Strategy, Continuous Improvement, KQMS, KSMS. Participates in Workshops and Cross-Functional Teams. Other duties as assignedAdditional Functions and Responsibilities: Participate in Kaizen events Maintain knowledge of and follows all safety regulations Attends all safety training classes both monthly and job specific Attends developmental workshops as directed and required by management Maintains visual management systems including but not limited to; Kanbans, visual stores, and inventories Produces at necessary level of production to meet demand requirements as directed by volume and/ or managementSkills/RequirementsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum Job Requirement: High School diploma or equivalentSPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDE REQUIRED Proficient in at least 1 Manufacturing Area within 12 months of hire High School Diploma or GED Work Overtime as required Basic reading skills.
