Job Title: Technician Production – Manufacturing Technician B Job Code: 18529 Job Location: Bristol, PA Job Description: This position responsible for testing, troubleshooting, overhaul, and repair of high reliability electro-mechanical, and electronic avionics instruments using available documentation; repair manuals, schematic diagrams, technical publications, work instructions, and engineering drawings. In this role individuals may be responsible for conducting test on a variety of digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies or end products. Must be capable of using a variety of test equipment, logging information in technical databases and have a basic understanding of schematics. Basic troubleshooting skills are required. This should include troubleshooting product, subassembly and circuit board failures to component level. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team. Essential Functions:

Ability to read schematic diagrams, electronic assembly drawings, engineering change orders, test procedures and rework documents.

Perform Acceptance Testing (i.e., vibration simulation, thermal cycles, and thermal vacuum) on flight hardware by following a specified test procedure.

Test and troubleshoot digital and/or analog top assemblies with little or no supervision.

Interface with Engineers for new product implementation or design issues.

Demonstrate computer literacy.

Perform routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) task and inspection on all ETL equipment.

Ability to work independently and also contribute as a team member.

Use of various electronic test equipment to perform tests and to interpret results to assure product performance integrity: Signal generators, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, spectrum and network analyzers, BER testers.

Thorough understanding of digital and analog circuitry.

Interface with customers and resolve problems.

Maintain consistent quality results.

Qualifications:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associate’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of prior related experience.

Previous Manufacturing experience minimum 1 year.

Security Clearance required upon hire : Ability to Obtain

Security Clearance required for role : Ability to Obtain

Preferred Additional Skills:

Associates or Technical Trade School

Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

Strong working knowledge of basic electronic theory and electronic test equipment (i.e., spectrum analyzer, oscilloscopes, power supply, etc.). 3 years of technical experience.

Understanding of digital and analog circuitry

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
