DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Bristol, PA.You will make an impact in the following ways:
Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
Maintain own tools
RESPONSIBILITIESIn order to be successful in this role you will need the following:(Intermediate):
Completes complex internal engine repairs
Performs engine overhauls with limited direct supervision
Education, Licenses, Certifications:Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)Vocational diploma from relevant technical institutionLocally valid driving permit (Preferred)This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.Experience:Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine productsExperience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)QUALIFICATIONSWorking Hours are M-F 7A.M.-3:30PM.
A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older
This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
