Job DescriptionBryn Mawr Trust, a WSFS Company, provides locally managed and collaborative wealth management solutions, including a broad array of planning and advisory services, investment management, trust and estate planning, brokerage and investment services to individual, corporate, and institutional clients through multiple integrated businesses.The Director of Alternative Investments and Manager Research will be responsible for leading and managing the alternative investments strategy of the organization. This role involves overseeing the research, selection, and management of alternative assets such as private equity, hedge funds, real estate, commodities, and venture capital.Job Responsibilities:Formulate and implement the alternative investments strategy aligned with the organization's overall investment goals.Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the alternative investment landscape.Oversee the construction and management of the alternative investments portfolio.Monitor performance, analyze risk, and ensure alignment with investment objectives.Establish and enforce manager research standards, incorporating the expertise of a third-party manager research consultant.Lead the due diligence process for new investments, including financial analysis, market research, and operational assessments.Build and maintain relationships with fund managers and alternative investment firms.Manage and mentor analysts and investment professionals.Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Conduct ongoing research on alternative investment products and strategies.Stay informed about market developments and economic factors affecting the alternative investment space.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including risk management, compliance, and operations teams.Engage with external partners, investors, and industry groups.Internal product marketing support for increased utilization.Work with advisors, handle cash flow forecasting and capital calls, and subject matter expert for technology platforms.Occasional travel for meetings and conferences.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA, MBA or advanced degree preferred.10+ years of experience in investment management, withTo view the full job description please use the link below.https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjQyMzYyLjEwODY1QHdzZnNiYW5rY29tcC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20
