Systems Engineer

Description We are in the search for a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in the financial services industry based in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining both Windows and Linux operating systems, providing application support, and implementing standard procedures throughout the operating systems. Responsibilities: Maintain proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems Build and maintain server OS’s and templates for both production and non-production Provide application support for servers and ensure understanding of core applications of Microsoft of Exchange, Domain Controllers, SharePoint, SCCM, Certificate Services, and Federated services Configure DNS & DHCP and understand record types, options & scope types Implement vulnerability remediation and reporting on Windows and Linux servers Create, update, and maintain PowerShell and bash scripting Review and maintain daily jobs including the scheduled tasks Ensure security and hardening of Windows and Linux of operating systems Troubleshoot and diagnose problems relating to TCP/IP, certificates, SNMP, AD Joins, while documenting root cause and performing corrective action Document and diagram current and future expansion of systems and network Analyze compute, storage, and other hardware servers for possible issues Work in conjunction with third party vendors to expedite resolution Perform systems analysis of all softwarehardware modification including vendor software releasespatches and user requests for change Design and implement processes to ensure high availability of all systems. Requirements Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is a must-have for the role. Expected to have a strong understanding of Citrix Technologies. Required to have experience in Database management and operations. Familiarity with Dell Technologies will be an added advantage. A strong grasp of EO/IR systems is essential. Knowledge of AB Testing methodologies will be beneficial. Hands-on experience with Active Directory is required. Must be proficient in Backup Technologies. Should have a solid understanding of Computer Hardware. Experience in Configuration Management is necessary.
