Our client, a leader in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Warehouse Dispatcher 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Warehouse Dispatcher, you will be part of the dispatch office supporting efficient delivery operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Warehouse Dispatcher 2nd ShiftLocation: Bath, PAPay Range: $18 per hourWhat's the Job?
Coordinate Dispatch Operations: Schedule and dispatch drivers for deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Monitor Deliveries: Track and monitor the progress of deliveries, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers.
Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels and ensure that stock is replenished as needed.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
What's Needed?
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics or supply chain management training is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role, preferably in a warehouse setting.
Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in logistics software, ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Availability: Must be available to work from 4 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
