Job Description: HVAC Service TechnicianThis person will perform installation, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs of Commercial HVAC systems such as:
Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
Must Haves:
Previous experience installing and repairing HVAC systems within Commercial settings.
Valid Driver's License
Previous experience driving work van
Customer service experience
Ability to document and complete work orders using a tablet, computer, or cell phone
Service heating systems
Service HVAC systems
Document services performed and parts used.
EPA Universal Certification or both Type I and Type II EPA Certifications
Skills: EPA, HVAC, Maintenance, Compressors, Split Systems, VAV, Air Handlers, CRAC, VFD, refrigerationTroubleshoot HVAC equipment and systems that are not working and replace parts that are defective.Perform preventive maintenance on all types of HVAC equipment to verify proper. current operation and to watch for potential problems on behalf of our customers.Act as a trusted adviser to recommend appropriate repairs and upgrades to our customers.Discuss pricing, value, and advantages of recommended appropriate repairs and upgrades.Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations.Perform related work as assigned.About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
