Qualifications: 3-5 Years experience within Payroll Department REQUIREDExperience outweighs schooling3-5 years of ERP systems experience (preferably Foundations, Sage, or other construction-based software)Union Payroll Experience/Weekly Payroll REQUIREDLarger Company of employee size of 300 or greater REQUIRED Description:Weekly Tasks

Merge and Import Time

Check for errors on imported worksheets

Make calls or email with questions to PM, supervisors, or foremen

Check for missing worksheets

Proof & Doublecheck each employee is paid correct PD, TP, hours, trade/rate

Run Checks & Export Direct Deposit to bank

Create List for any live checks over 1K & email to contact at Washington Financial

Get Net Pay sheet to Accounts Payable

Send W798 rig report to Accounts Payable

Get checks signed

Fill out rest of Net Pay Sheet (taxes & garnishments)

Reconcile misc. deductions (uniforms, flex spend, Reliance, Highmark PPO, Colonial Life) to see if anyone was off and will need to make up next week

Schedule child support Payments

941 Transfer (EFTPS)

W798 online reporting

Equipment import, report and email

PA withholding transfer (E-Tides)

Update Excel spreadsheet

401k Report for previous week

Certified Payrolls-Runs Reports, add any company fringe and have notarized.

Monthly Tasks

Balance Payroll Excel spreadsheet to Foundation Wage & Tax report

Monthly garnishments payments and sending to Accounts Payable

New Hire Report uploads

Union Reports for USW

WV, OH income tax

Colonial Life Ins and Company Insurances

PA Wage Tax

PLIAF online report & Mail Payment

Quarterly Tasks

Print and file 941 verification from Foundation

PA, WV, and OH Tax

PA Unemployment online (SUTA)

940 FUTA (Fed Unemp tax) EFT Website

Year End Tasks

Update Pay Rates and Update stipulated wage employee's forms with new rates

Update benefits for new year according to contract (shift change, vacation)

Check tax rates to see if any changes for next year

See if 401k limit has changed and update if necessary

Occupational Wage Tax report to Accounts Payable

1) Adjust for 3rd party sick pay2) W2 box 12 worksheet for insurance paid for each company person3) Balance and Print W-2s- Total Compensation Package

Print Federal W-2 copy

5) Magnetic/Electronic Filing of W26) Upload Federal zip file to Social Security7) Magnetic/Electronic W2 State- PA, OH, WV8) Upload State to E-tides and do reconciliation for OH, PA, WV9) Electronic W2 OH and PA10) Keystone Collects-Annual Tax Reconciliation11) 940 Annual Report Additional Support

Update Health and Welfare Benefits for Union

Update 798 Pay Rates and Fringe

Update any changes to company insurance plans

Update stipulated wage sheets with new company insurance plan amounts

Vacation Pays, Boot reimbursement, Christmas gift check, Year End Bonuses

Scan & File safety sheets as needed

Enter New Hires into Foundation

Fax or email insurance participation forms to Zenith

Look over Cobra census monthly

Enter PSD and Union for new jobs into Foundation

Answer phone calls

Calculate and schedule any payroll advances

Update company employee insurance and 401ks as needed
