A Medium Voltage Electrician maintains, repairs, and monitors the operation of electrical power distribution systems and equipment with a voltage below 23,000 volts. You will install and maintain transformers, switchgears, and emergency generators; repair and replace cables; use blueprints and schematic diagrams to determine and resolve electrical system problems; and maintain ventilating fans, fire alarms systems, traffic control lights, and runway lighting systems. In addition, you will operate a bucket truck to maintain parking lot lighting systems. It is important that all electrical work is performed under safety requirements of the National Electrical Code.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Overtime as needed.
As an essential employee, you will be required to work during emergencies and office closings.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Five years of journey-level experience in the electrical trade; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.Condition of Employment:
You must have possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's license.
Additional Requirements:
You must pass a favorable National Crime Information Center (NCIC) screening for admittance to Fort Indiantown Gap.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Formal training (high school or vocational program, apprenticeship, or post-high school technical program) in the electrical trade
Experience as an electrician
Licensure as a journey electrician or master electrician
Experience working with generators
Previous experience working from construction sketches, diagrams, and/or blueprints in the electrical tradeLegal Requirement:
