Purpose:

Collaborate with Restorative Nurse, Director of Nursing, and the therapy program manager to provide direct patient care for residents in need of a Rehabilitation/Restorative/Preventative program.

Essential Duties:

Provide opportunities for residents to maximize functional independence and prevent loss of existing functional capacity.

Keep updated records of each resident’s progress and attendance each month.

Work together with the therapy program manager to assure all equipment utilized in the Rehabilitation/Restorative/Preventative program is available, clean, and in good working condition.

Must have a willingness to handle difficult situations and be able to provide positive solutions in the best interest of the resident.

Required Qualification:

Current license as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the state of FL and CPR certified

Prefer previous employment with Lakeview Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for at least two (2) years.

Must demonstrate dependable attendance and the ability to accurately document and chart patient care.

For purposes of effective communication with residents, families and staff must be able to see, hear, speak, read and write English.

Maintain ability to stretch, push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, lift unassisted at least 50 lbs and walk or stand up to eight hours.

Hourly Rate:

$17.00 - 22.10

Background Checks:

A criminal history background check and sex offender registry check will be required for the finalist under consideration for this position. We are a drug free workplace.
