Purpose:
Assess medical needs of residents and assure that necessary care and services are being provided.
Essential Duties:
Maintain accurate records of care and assure all physicians, families or surrogates are notified of any resident condition changes.
Administer medications, performed prescribed treatments and document all necessary information as needed and assure that all physicians’ orders are followed as written.
Respond promptly to all emergency calls and other requests in the Community for medical services and document all changes and pertinent resident information.
Arrange for home health care and services, if needed, upon resident’s discharge from HCC.
Secure and store properly all toxic/hazardous substances utilized in the work area.
Required Qualification:
Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
CPR certified.
For purposes of effective communication with residents, families and staff must be able to see, hear, speak, read and write English.
Maintain ability to stretch, push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, lift unassisted at least 50 lbs and walk or stand up to eight hours.
Salary Rate:
$29.00 - $42.70Background Checks: A criminal history background check and sex offender registry check will be required for the finalist under consideration for this position.
