About the Company: Lakeview Terrace– a Life Care Community, is enhancing and advancing the art of Life Care. Our gated campus occupies 100 serene acres on the edge of the Ocala National Forest. Featuring two lakes with fishing docks, walking paths, a natural area for picnicking and a new Rehab Center and Exercise Pool Complex. With full service offerings available to all our residents, we provide peace of mind with caring and compassionate staff to ensure happiness and well-being. As a team member with Lakeview Terrace, you will provide services to our residents that call LVT home. Facility Name and Address: Lakeview Terrace Retirement Community 95 Classic Drive, Altoona FL 32702 Purpose: Receive, screen, direct residents, visitors, guests, sales reps, etc. Answer telephone and direct incoming calls to the appropriate person or accurately take and relay messages Essential Duties:

C onfirm any doctor appointments as necessary and schedule transportation.

Respond to the resident call system quickly and accurately and notify appropriate staff of resident’s needs immediately. Transmit and respond on the radio and beeper system and relay appropriate information in an appropriate time manner.

Complete, record, and follow up with work orders submitted to the Maintenance Department for Health Care Center needs.

Complete routine typing and filing as assigned by Health Care Center Administrative staff. Enter resident information into Point Click Care. Change out activities signs and dietary menus and distribute mail and newspapers to the residents.

Procure supplies for nursing assistants, stock supply rooms, input requisition forms of supplies charged to individual residents onto the billing spreadsheet and maintains monthly record of resident charges.

Maintain HIPPA compliance in disposal of medication packets. Maintain HIPPA compliance by completing the shredding of any paper to be disposed of for the Health Care Center

Assist Health Care Center Administration with any duties required, i.e. maintaining census, , filling, completion of packets, etc.

Respond appropriately to fire and disaster emergencies whether actual or practice. Also monitor radio for weather emergencies, as needed, with notification of proper personnel while on duty.

Attend all required in-services and trainings, including All Staff Meetings. . Complete course modules in the training program by specified due dates.

Ensure compliance with all federal and state rules and regulations. Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Qualification:

High School graduate with excellent typing, clerical and communication skills.

For purposes of effective communication with residents, families and staff must be able to see, hear, speak, read and write English.

Maintain ability to stretch, push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, lift unassisted at least 15 lbs and do repetitive motions with the hands.

Hourly Rate:

$15.00 - Negotiable
