Position: Prep Kitchen
Availability: 20-25 Hours a week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Day starts at 8 am and the crew is usually done around 3pm or 4 pm
Must be available to work increased hours and days around holidays
Salary: Minimum $15/ hour starting
Job Summary: Our Kitchen provides products to our store at the Allentown Farmers Market. We make a range of poultry products from Chicken Pot Pie to Raw Chicken Sausage.
Some examples of tasks would be : Cut Veggies , Weight Spices, Cook Off Chicken and Turkey, Operate a Patty Machine and/or Grinder, Deliver to Store, Daily Kitchen Clean Up
There is a small crew of about 5 people that work under our Kitchen Manager.
Kitchen work without the late night kitchen hours!
Qualifications
- On your feet for long periods of time
- Work well with other staff
- Ability to learn quickly
- Lift 20-40 pounds
- Safe Food Handling Skills
