RK&K is currently seeking an experienced Task Order Manager to lead and coordinate large-scale federal transportation projects. In this role, the Task Order Manager II will oversee the daily operations of assigned Task Orders, serving as the primary liaison with the Contracting Officer Representative, Alternate Contracting Officer Representative, and, in most cases, the project sponsor. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing task workloads in accordance with established budgetary and scheduling requirements. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from any location.
Essential Function
Oversee the daily operations of assigned Task Orders for major capital transit projects including Commuter Bus, Bus, Bus Rapid Transit, Demand Response, Demand Response - Taxi, and Ferryboat
Serve as the primary liaison with the Contracting Officer Representative, Alternate Contracting Officer Representative, and, in most cases, the project sponsor
Responsible for organizing and managing task workloads in accordance with established budgetary and scheduling requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program
OR a Bachelor of Architecture from a NAAB Accredited Program
OR licensure as a Professional Engineer in the United States
Project Management Professional or Certified Construction Manager (PMP or CCM) certification is required
Minimum 12 years of project experience with 6 of the 12 years related to major capital transit projects in Project Planning, Engineering, and Construction
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience in commuter bus, bus, Bus Rapid Transit, Demand Response, Demand Response -Taxi, and Ferryboat or related transportation modes for the eight elements shown below:
Engineering design management
Project planning management
Construction management
Public outreach management
Federal grant management process
Regulatory and compliance experience
Project oversight services
FTA's Capital Investment Grant program
