Key responsibilities include adding and verifying job steps, updating system data, closing completed tasks, and managing resource needs. The individual will communicate requirements, plan and schedule for at least a week, load output and job details, and cover scheduling functions when needed. They will also determine daily work schedules, address resource concerns, monitor key dates, and attend relevant meetings. Leading project planning, resolving resource conflicts, assisting in tracking project progress, monitoring production performance, and managing inventory levels are also crucial aspects of the role.A day in the life
Apply Good Manufacturing Principles and demonstrate/promote the company vision.
Ensure daily scheduling maintenance: add/verify job steps and start dates, update data in systems, close completed job steps/phases, update resource needs and rooms, and load expected output information, WIP, and job details.
Communicate requirements on time and plan/schedule for a minimum 7-day window.
Perform essential scheduling functions in the absence of the primary scheduler.
Determine and execute daily work schedules, checking resources and discussing concerns with the master scheduler.
Monitor KD18 dates and recruit assistance as needed.
Update JOTS and attend Backlog and OPS daily scheduling meetings to provide job progress updates.
Lead planning, scheduling, and coordination of all projects, identifying and resolving conflicts in resources and timelines.
Assist project managers/clients in tracking, monitoring, and reporting project progress.
Monitor and analyze performance to schedule production activities, managing inventory levels and coordinating work priorities.
Keys to successEducation
HS Diploma or GED Required.
Experience
3 years of related experience within project management, project data management, project coordination or similar roles and experience.
Project Management Certification preferred.
MS project experience preferred.
PWA Administrator experience preferred.
Data Analysis Experience (SQL/SSRS) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Self-disciplined at managing tasks needing to be completed on a timeline.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Ability to follow-through and interface with team members participating in required schedule projects and activities.
Detail oriented and able to multi-task in a rapidly changing environment with frequent interruptions.
Able to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats.
Mastery of skills required to read, understand, and adhere to the SOPs and policies of a GMP environment.
