Job Summary:

Directly responsible for leading and directing the maintenance team on the repair of machine breakdowns for all blow mold and downstream equipment. Managing and developing their team to improve overall shift maintenance skill level. Oversees major jobs and provides technical support to the team to ensure safety, quality, and completeness of work. Main point of contact for major repairs requiring external or after-hours support. Reports directly to the maintenance department supervisors/manger in all maintenance aspects of the job, and indirectly to the production supervisor in terms of setting business priorities when repairing downed machines.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sets the example of what it means to work safe. Completes on-line safety requirement (CBT's, Red/Green cards, proactive safety initiatives) on time each month. Ensures that their team members are completing their monthly safety obligations. Responds to all emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns. Enforces adherence to Amcor safety policies and practices to ensure a safe working environment for shift maintenance team. Is focused on creating a quality container. Works closely with BM lead and operators to ensure that Amcor's quality standards are being upheld. Abides by and enforces Amcor's GMP policies. Direct point of contact for machine breakdowns requiring external or after-hours support Can make tactical decisions based on situational conflicts and machine priorities. Can delegate jobs to their team members in order to meet the needs of the company. Is aware of plant priorities on a daily basis. Carries a radio at all times to communicate effectively with their team members as well as the production floor. Follows the rules set forth by the "Radio Code of Conduct". Understands that the maintenance role is to support the production team to meet the needs of our external customers. Communicates with production supervisor and team on the status of downed machines for estimated repair time, and after making necessary repairs when turning machines back over to production. Prioritizes resources to complete tasks that are assigned by the Maintenance Supervisors and Manager. Oversees maintenance personnel as assigned for the purpose of maximizing the efficiency of the work force and meeting shift requirements. Maintains tools, equipment, systems and/or components (e.g. hand tools, power tools, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating condition. Ensures roper documentation is fully filled out in Amcor approved documentation systems (currently FMS and SAP, but subject to change), and clearly communicates maintenance information at required production meetings. Attends shift maintenance turnover meeting daily for pass down of critical maintenance information from prior shift. Creates work orders for parts needed to fix machines in SAP. Works with the purchasing team in obtaining SAP numbers for parts that need to be stocked. Works closely with the purchasing team on keeping parts stocked that are required. Helps organize the stock room so that it is arranged in a manner that makes sense. Develops a "Critical/Consumable" parts audit for their lines. Helps to maintain the cleanliness of all blow mold equipment, the maintenance shop and rebuild area, the base rebuild area, and both mold storage areas. Participates in the Amcor New Hire Training Program. Train level 1,2 and 3 mechanics on a regular basis. Creates BIC Work Instructions for new tasks that employees tend to struggle with. Before leaving work each day, checks in with their department lead, supervisor or manager. Makes sure that machines are running efficiently or are passed on to an individual who can repair the machine in a timely manner Assists other personnel for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities to complete business objectives. Completes all other manufacturing job functions as neededLEAD RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures the safety of the work environment for operations and maintenance team

Direct lead for 12-hour shift maintenance team.

Point of contact for maintenance related issues on shift

Sets and manages team priorities

Ensures completion of all required maintenance documentation

Attends scheduled meetings

Reports out on critical maintenance related activities

Supports production team with all maintenance related issues

Communicates effectively on machine issues and completion of repairsQUALIFICATIONS

Education: Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Preferred: Technical School DiplomaExperience:

Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment with blow molding and packaging equipment Must have good working knowledge of high production machinery and facilities together with proven leadership experience. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business reports and correspondence. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and customer needs. Ability to work under pressure and interact with others. Ability to meet / exceed deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills including ability to communicate quickly and effectively with all members of the shift and management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in electronic data-entry

Physical Requirements:

Lift / push / pull up to 100 pounds 50 feet using a hydraulic hand jack (this is the equivalent of a static push / pull of approximately 70 pounds). Maximum frequent lifting weight of 75 pounds from ground to 6 feet overhead. Occasional frequency of lifting up to 100 pounds from ground to 6 feet overhead. Maximum frequent carrying weight of 60 pounds for 10 feet. Employees are required to stand / walk for up to 11 hours per shift on a concrete floor. Employees must be able to work 12-hour shifts day or nights, including weekends and holidays. Employees are required to bend; turn / twist; kneel; squat; crawl; climb; reach out and up; turn wrist; grasp; pinch; and have finger manipulations.

Required Safety Equipment:

Employees are required to continuously wear hearing and eye protection, as well as protective clothing including steel toe
