This position requires 15% domestic/global travel.The Internal Audit (IA) function at Air Products has responsibility to perform risk assessments and provide independent assurance via planned audits and advisory work for the entire company. Additionally, IA acts as the SOX PMO for the company. Areas of coverage include finance, operations, engineering, IT, and cybersecurity. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing technology-focused risk assessments, audits, and SOX testing.Required Skills and Abilities:
Participate in risk assessments – Support the annual risk assessment effort to create a balanced and robust IT, OT, and cyber audit plan. The effort should include: conducting interviews; consuming industry trends; leveraging KPIs and KRIs; and collating key dependencies business operations has on technology.
Execute technology-focused audits and advisory projects – Lead planning and execution of audits in the following domains: system implementations; enterprise cybersecurity; operational technology; and cyber regulatory compliance. Utilize data analytics to drive efficiency and expand audit coverage.
IT SOX testing execution – Assess design of controls for key systems and test operating effectiveness of these controls. Collaborate with external auditors. Work with management in identifying appropriate remediation plans for deficiencies.
Participate in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives – Participate in a CI initiative in a focused area that either creates new processes or drives efficiency in existing audit practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Security, Information Technology, or Accounting with IT Specialization
Minimum of 2 years experience
Experience in a combination of technology, risk, compliance, and audit.
Hands-on experience performing IT and cybersecurity audits.
Experience testing controls and identifying remediation plans.
Ability to moderate and negotiate tough conversations as they arise.
Experience utilizing external networks and resources to drive effective audit planning.
Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
Knowledge of SAP transactions & flows, and expertise with SAP tables a plus.
