Design and develop mechanical test fixtures and custom test equipment racks for optical modules, sub-assemblies, and line modules. Interface with product design teams in the
development process to provide early product DVT (Design Validation Test) and production test fixture designs. Communicate across the product development, new product introduction
and production groups to ensure that the delivered mechanical test fixture designs satisfy customer needs while meeting schedule requirements. Help create mechanical design concepts
using CREO CAD (Computer Aided Design) tool and make mechanical CAD Drawings for outside vendors to fabricate the test fixtures. Use machining process and tolerances to provide
designs that are in-line with tooling and fabrication supplier capabilities. Perform initial setup and adjustment of test fixture prototypes and instruct engineers and technicians to setup
