Then our Transportation and Visitation Monitor role may be just for you!Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor, the Transportation and Visitation Monitor facilitates the supervision of visits between children in out-of-home care and their family members with a strengths-based, solution-focused approach that emphasizes full engagement with the child and family members. The Visitation Monitor ensures the safety of children at all times, identifies and documents clients' strengths, needs, and any risk factors; and may provide families with education/coaching/modeling of appropriate parental behavior. The worker will also complete assigned drives as required which includes transportation of children and/or adults to visits and/or appointments. Court testimony may also be required. Some evening/weekend hours may be required.WHO You'll Be Working For:You will be working for Pinebrook Family Answers- a large nonprofit leader in providing behavioral health services throughout Northeast PA. At Pinebrook Family Answers, you will find meaningful work and a deep commitment to the well-being of our clients, staff, and communities.WHAT You'll Do as a Foster Care Transportation & Visitation Monitor:

Transport clients to family visits and other appointments.

Abide by all transportation and safety laws and policies.

Use car seats as prescribed by law at all times.

Is on time for all visits/appointments.

Ensure the safety of clients at all times and adhere to all parameters set by the referring agency.

Provide families with education/coaching/modeling of appropriate parental behavior.

Participate in the on-going development of the Transportation and Visitation Program.

Document all activities provided to the family or on behalf of the family

Complete all reports/paperwork within the prescribed time frames

Assist families with signing all verification forms.

Complete a visitation report at the conclusion of each visit.

Provide testimony in court or attend case-related meetings as necessary.

Attend case-related meetings (as necessary), agency staff and unit meetings, required trainings, and all mandatory agency

functions.

Respect the confidential nature of all information relative to clients and clients' right to privacy as defined by state and federal

Associate's degreewith more thantwo yearsof demonstrated experience infamily life education and children's services

OR

A Bachelor's degree in human serviceswith at leastone year of child welfare experience.

Must have knowledge of family dynamics, child development, and effective parenting.

Must demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural differences present among the agency's defined service population.

Have a valid driver's license, excellent driving record, reliable car, and proper liability insurance on his/her own vehicle.

Must be at least 21 years old.
