Reporting to the Field Service Manager the Field Service Technician is responsible for servicing, repairing, and commissioning advanced water treatment systems at customer sites. With a strong focus on water quality, this role involves performing electrical and mechanical testing, diagnosing system failures, and assisting customers with the maintenance of their UV systems. You will travel extensively, spending most of your time on-site, ensuring that our products and services meet and exceed customer expectations.This position is part of the Field Service Team located in Pennsylvania, PA and will be remote.At Trojan Technologies we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce. Perform electrical and mechanical testing, diagnose system failures, and assist customers with the maintenance of their UV systems.
Solve problems, evaluate systems and processes to identify root causes, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Serve as the first point of contact for all customer interactions, building and nurturing key customer relationships to understand their needs and requirements.
Travel around 80% - 90% of the time within or outside your assigned region.
The essential requirements of the job include:
3 to 5 years of Field Service Experience.
Familiarity with electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical principles.
Ability to read and interpret drawings (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic).
Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Sales and Operations to help resolve site specific difficulties.
Knowledge working with PLCs, Specifically Allen Bradley, WAGO and Siemens
