The electronics technician conducts, maintains, tests and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. The primary role of the Controls Technician is to provide detailed technical support and expertise in the Plant Facilities, Systems and Controls. This role will encompass the following tasks specifically but can be called upon to assist in technical matters as deemed necessary.Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Abides by all Amcor's Safety and Quality policies and procedures. Detailed diagnostic analysis of plant facilities, infrastructure equipment, mechanical, electrical and controls systems. Development of preventative and predictive maintenance systems for all plant Facilities, Systems, Electrical. Mechanical and Controls areas, Parts list, cost and timeline to complete repair / overhaul of the detailed diagnostic analysis. Design and integration of improvements to the Plant Facilities, Systems and Controls systems. Provide hands on assistance in the completion of events surrounding the diagnostic analysis, repairs, installations, etc. Troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and programming issues related to plant controls, mechanical systems, System proprietary controls or any other equipment troubleshooting support necessary. Identification and interaction with vendors to schedule maintenance, PM's, service, etc. to improve the reliability of OEM equipment or other used to support Production Operations, Plant Personnel and Plant Support Teams. Provides direction on Preventive / Predictive maintenance plan to achieve optimal operational reliability to include scheduling. Provide onsite, scheduled training on controls systems, preventive/predictive maintenance, mechanical and electrical systems throughout the facility. Provide phone support for the plant operations and facilities teams to assist in troubleshooting / repair of programming, controls, drives, mechanical issues or any other support required by the Plant or Facility teams or to restore a necessary piece of equipment back in service. Provide on-site after hours support for the plant operations team to assist in troubleshooting / repair of controls, drives, mechanical issues or any other support required by the Plant or Facility Teams or to restore a necessary piece of equipment back in service. Work with the site's operations l adership on new product / equipment installation, startup, and commissioning. Development of training materials and work instructions to facilitate consistent application of Best Practices Travel to provide project support to Amcor plants as requested. Work overtime as needed to complete assigned tasks. Install conduits, pipe, electrical components, cabling, electrical hardware, motors, drives, etc. as needed for new equipment installations, controls, power services, etc. Rebuild, repair or install mechanical/electrical equipment throughout facility including but not limited to pumps, VFD, motors, valves, automated equipment, controller, etc.OurExpectations
