Position combines project work and regular duties in system maintenance and/or end user support. Job shadowing opportunities and training provided. The intent of this job description is to provide a summary of the major duties and responsibilities of this position and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the positionJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Assists team in providing quality customer service to users throughout St. Luke's University Health Network by supporting the creation and distribution of accurate, timely, and accessible information under the guidance of department management and senior analysts.2. Develops and maintains working knowledge of data sources, data management tools, and reporting systems as appropriate. Assists in maintaining data integrity.3. Maintains confidentiality of all materials and data at all times, releasing information with approval of supervisor in accordance with departmental/organizational policies and regulatory standards4. Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding issues of employee, patient and environmental safety and follows appropriate reporting requirements.5. Demonstrates/models the Network’s Service Excellence Standards of Performance in interactions with all customers (internal and external).6. Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding attendance and dress code.OTHER FUNCTIONS:1. Other related duties as assigned.PHYSICIAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS: Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time. Requires crouching, kneeling, and lifting of objects weighing up to 60 pounds, pushing objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Requires hand and finger dexterity to perform repairs of small equipment and to use computer equipment. Seeing as it relates to general, near, colorand peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Analytical and critical thinking skills required. Must be detail oriented. Perform duties with minimal error and within appropriate timeframes according to departmental and organizational priorities under guidance of supervisor. Maintain positive interpersonal and interdepartmental relationships. Demonstrate responsibility and follow-through with assigned projects. Exhibit professional communication skills.QUALIFICATIONS(MINIMUM)EDUCATION: Bachelors degree or current enrollment in a relevant degree programTRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated interest in healthcare analytics. Classwork or work experience in data analysis, relational databases, data visualizations, BI tools, or related applications is a plus.
