Description We are actively searching for a Sr. Staff Accountant to support our client's team located in Tigard, Oregon. This role provides a short-term contract employment opportunity. The Sr. Staff Accountant will primarily be tasked with performing various accounting duties including, but not limited to, handling bank reconciliations, managing the general ledger, recording journal entries, and overseeing the month-end and year-end close processes. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Sage Intacct is highly desirable.Responsibilities: Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy Effectively manage and maintain the integrity of the general ledger Regularly record journal entries as part of the accounting cycle Oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely completion Carry out the year-end close process, adhering to best practices Use QuickBooks and Sage Intacct for various accounting tasks Review and rectify any discrepancies in clearing accounts Independently resolve any unresolved items in accounts Comfortably work independently on various accounting tasksRequirements Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is required Must have experience in managing General Ledger Ability to handle Journal Entries is mandatory Expertise in Month End Close activities is necessary Knowledge of QuickBooks software is essential Familiarity with Sage Intacct software is a plus Experience in Year-end Close activities is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
