Description Robert Half is searching for a Desktop Support Technician to support a healthcare client based in The Dalles, OR. You will be responsible for providing basic technical troubleshooting, maintaining personal computers and related hardware, and assisting Network Engineers with the installation of software and hardware. This position is a 3-month contract with possible extension that is 100% onsiteWhat you will do:
Monitors hardware systems using operating systems utilities.
Actively identifies problems in the department, reports them to the supervisor, pursues feedback, and actively participates in resolution methods.
Analyze existing methods and develop alternatives to increase operations and production efficiency.
Maintain personal computers and related hardware systems
Support Network Engineers in installing software and hardware
Other Duties as required
Requirements
Must Haves: Experience with desktop hardware and operating systems is required Demonstrated computer skills, including knowledge of computer systems and hardware Proven experience in deskside support and application supportNice to Haves:
