Job Title: Maintenance MechanicJob DescriptionThe Maintenance Mechanic will repair and troubleshoot production machinery and equipment involved in the manufacturing of large-scale boilers, kilns, and other industrial power systems. The facility contains manual mills, manual lathes, forklifts, hoists, cranes, and other metal fabrication equipment.Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and troubleshoot hydraulics, motors, bearings, actuators, and all auxiliary components.

Test equipment to ensure proper functionality.

Use hand and power tools for maintenance and repairs.

Troubleshoot light electrical issues using volt/ohm meters.

Operate industrial equipment as needed.

Inspect parts to machine tolerance from shop blueprints and specifications prior to assembly.

Accurately interpret work specifications, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and other assembly documentation.

Assemble products with speed and accuracy, applying advanced mechanical skills with minimal direction or supervision.

Understand, promote, and adhere to a Safety First culture by following safety guidelines and requirements at all times, and properly utilize the appropriate personal protective equipment for each situation.

Essential Skills

Mechanical troubleshooting on industrial equipment such as forklifts, manual machines, and motors.

Electrical troubleshooting.

Facilities maintenance, including fire extinguisher checks and basic facility troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience working on industrial machinery.

Working knowledge of mechanical technical skills for reading documents such as specifications, machine manuals, electrical schematics, and blueprints.

Proficient in troubleshooting techniques to resolve machine issues.

Advanced experience with hand and power tools.
