SUR Logistics, a Non-Emergency Medical Transport Company, is looking for a full-time employee in the Salem/Keizer Oregon area.
Most trips are short distance serving Salem and Keizer although there may be trips to Portland, Eugene, etc. which will pay at a higher rate than in town trips. Operational hours are Monday through Saturday from 7am to 7pm. No after hour/unscheduled trips are assigned to the Team Driver. Trips are pre assigned the day prior, there are no dispatched trips.
Team Drivers are paid weekly for trips completed the previous week as well as mileage reimbursement per day. No industry experience is necessary but is preferred.
Basic duties include door-to-door transport of clients as well as loading and unloading client's walker if applicable. Team Driver will follow a detailed daily trip schedule (Manifest) provided prior to the work shift. There is no continuous or micro-managed dispatch as the schedule will outline trips for the day. Team Driver will be required to obtain client's signature for each ride completed. HIPPA regulations must be followed at all times.
Specific personal qualifications and requirements include a positive attitude and professionalism; friendliness, professional appearance/appropriate hygiene, and dependability are basic qualifications. A clean four door sedan/SUV will be acceptable. Knowledge of GPS mapping and ownership of a new-model smart phone with hands-free headset and text feature, including Google Maps is required prior to first day of employment. A phone car charger is also required.
Team Drivers must have a relatively clean driving record and be able to pass a background check and drug test. Three industry certificates will need to be completed. These expenses are paid by the employer.
