Bear Electric is looking for a LEA Low Voltage Technician to join our team! If you have:

LEA Oregon limited energy electrical license or ability to obtain an LEA Oregon limited energy electrical license prior to beginning employment

Experience installing, servicing and troubleshooting limited energy systems

Exceptional attention to detail

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize

Strong problem solving skills and analytical abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to professionalism, in demeanor and appearance

Valid Driver’s license and the ability to be insured on a commercial policy

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to install limited energy systems per NEC code requirements

Effective system startup and checkout methodology, and programming

Effective troubleshooting of fire, security and communication systems

Ability to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements

Positive and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to act as liaison with customers and provide training on systems

Active problem solving skills, critical thinking skills, ability to follow specific instructions precisely when necessary, multitasking, and consistent follow-through on delegated tasks

Able to work at heights, off a ladder and in confined spaces

Able to lift 50 lbs. and move up to 75 lbs

Must know universal communications color codes

Basic understanding of computers, tablets and MS office
