Seeking a construction laborer to start as soon as possible, based out of Wilsonville, Oregon.
Once 3 month training period successfully ends, wage will increase to $25/hr.
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Starting pay: $22/hr training wage
Schedule: Approximately 40-60 hours/ week, Monday- Friday
Benefits: Birthdays off work, 401k offered after set period, performance-based raises
Requirements:
Read, write, speak fluent English
Reliable transportation
Clean driving record
Pass a drug check
Subject to background check
Physically able to: Bend, stretch, kneel, squat, lift, climb, with adequate flexibility
Not claustrophobic
Team player
Motivated without instruction
Strong work ethic
Ability to think outside the box with creative solutions in time sensitive situations
Job duties:
Monitor manhole technician from above for safety
Pour/ shovel heavy concrete off flatbed trucks into manholes
Hand form concrete with tools to create “channels” for grey water and/or live manholes to flow through
Test pipes for continuity
Leak stop manholes and conduct repairs
Workdays start between 4-7am, with varying tasks every day. No experience required, only a strong work drive to learn and be proud of the work accomplished.
