Northcore USA LLC is seeking to fill Superintendent positions for its growing Excavation Siteworks Company. We accomplish residential, commercial, and municipal siteworks construction including installation of storm/sewer/water/dry utilities systems, roads and street construction, mass grading, sidewalks/curbs & gutters/driveways, and retaining walls to name a few. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, team player to join our workforce.
Daily Job Requirements:
Organize daily job site / project needs:
Meet with NC Owner for project updates
Meet with Project Foreman to update project status and changes
Lay Out Crews as Needed
Schedule all Subcontractors, Materials, Suppliers, Fuel
Lay out equipment and tool daily need with Foremen
Conduct Site Safety Meetings with Crews
Perform Job Site Inspections and Quality Control Oversite
Meet with Project Owners/Engineers/Managers
Negotiate Change Orders
Complete Estimates
Comply with all Contract Requirements
Assist with Site Layout and Schedule
Assist with training of employees and recruitment as needed
Assist with keeping projects on budget
Identify and manage project risks to budget, schedule, quality, success
Understand, review, and manage project plans, specifications, and manufacturer's data and execute project based upon said documentation.
Review construction documents for completeness and constructability.
Negotiate subcontractor and supplier agreements defining scope requirements.
Review, manage, and approve subcontractor billings and payment.
Represent the company as the main point of contact for the Owner and team including:
Participate in the review and negotiation of owner agreements.
Assist with permitting and authority having jurisdiction, representing the project and the owner's interests.
Continually work to maintain positive relationships and possible future work opportunities.
Understand and implement construction law, current codes, and general building science and best practices.
Work with project team to ensure company safety program, quality control program, and all company policies and procedures are enacted.
Manage closeout process as well as warranty period for projects.
Maintain current Oregon driver’s license and insurable driving record.
Enter and record project daily information in electronic formats.
