We are making portable sawmills.
We have big, vintage Okuma machines. The lathe has 2 turrets and live tooling.
We do have manual mills and lathes.
Our ideal applicant (you?) is probably 50+ and just wants a cool place to hang out doing something useful and productive with other useful and productive people.
We are more than happy to take on anyone younger who is capable, but this is largely a part-time gig - not that it will start that way though. We need someone who is ready to come in HOT and help us get all these parts done! Just really need someone who likes to play with these massive machines making stuff out of metal.
More about you You probably like puzzles. You might get excited about fixturing. You are fluent in G-code.
Besides paying half decently, I will make you a homecooked lunch every day! Family-style, from scratch, with real ingredients.
