Shifts: 7:00am to 4:00pm, work 5 days a week, off Sat & Sun unless we have an emergency.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of facilities, ensuring that all restaurant equipment operates efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot various maintenance issues. The Maintenance Technician will also be needed to paint, clean, do general building maintenance, landscaping, grease removal and drive a box truck.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
Perform repairs and maintenance on Restaurant equipment, utilizing tools such as saws, hammers and all other tools necessary to perform the tasks at hand.
Possibly assist in welding tasks as needed to maintain restaurant equipment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Collaborate with other restaurant staff to address facility-related concerns promptly.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant maintenance or a related field.
Strong knowledge of restaurant equipment, proficient in using tools such as an Ohmmeter for diagnostics. Leadership skills with experience supervising a team preferred.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong logical reasoning skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for restaurant operations.
