The Quality Control Technician is responsible for accurate record
keeping in sample logs, tracking production lots, water quality sampling, cleaning and sanitation of laboratory
equipment and supplies, testing of sanitary program and yeast culturing.
Essential Functions:
Perform assigned and scheduled laboratory tests on samples of raw materials, intermediate products,
and final products in order to comply with company product standards.
Perform assigned and scheduled material (including but not limited to, raw material, packaging
material) inspection in order to comply with company standards.
Keep accurate records of test result as required.
Mix and control concentrations of standard laboratory reagents.
Maintain laboratory equipment in good operating condition. Report all necessary maintenance and
repair requirements in a timely manner.
Maintain chemical reagents inventory.
Maintain the cleanness and sanitation of laboratory equipment and supplies.
Assist with waste treatment, yeast cultivation and yeast culture transfer.
Keep all formulation, ingredients, test methods, and other trade related information in confidence.
