OCDC is hiring an Operation Support Manager for Washington County locations in the Hillsboro/Cornelius area. The Operation Support Manager ensures the smooth operations of sites, compliance with all State and Federal Regulation and Certification and oversees the county operations and support functions. This position supervises the Food Services Supervisor, Transportation Supervisor, Facilities and Safety Technician, and Site Coordinators.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures effective center operations by overseeing staffing and solving logistic problems.

Works with Site Coordinators to ensure timely opening/moving/closing of classrooms.

Ensures appropriate staff/child ratios

Develops activities schedules for field trips and playground.

Maintains education equipment and supply inventory.

Coordinates site-based special events.

Responsible for site inspections

Facilitates child abuse reporting and follow-up process in collaboration with management staff.

Participates in center planning and program reviews.

Maintains center information and communication binders and bulletin boards.

Distributes classroom supplies on ongoing basis.REQUIRED SKILLS:

Bilingual (Spanish)

Knowledge and experience in child development EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

AA/AS degree in business or related field OR High School Diploma/GED AND at least 5 years of experience in scheduling, supervising and monitoring staff with at least 5 years of experience in managing and planning programs. Knowledge and experience in child development is required.
