Metal Fabrication Company looking to fill a Shipping & Receiving Clerk/Delivery Driver Position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect, package and prepare goods for shipment
Fill orders from warehouse stock, shelves, or bins
Assemble parts per drawings and specifications
Create bills of lading and maintain shipping records
Properly load and secure goods on delivery truck
Deliver/pickup and communicate with customers and suppliers
Receive and record incoming shipments of materials
Self-start and be productive without supervision
Work in a fast-pace environment with priorities that change quickly
Keep work area clean and well organized
Follow all safety rules and quality standards
Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and complete work
Qualifications:
Reading, math and communication skills equivalent to a high school education
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of design and basic mechanical principles
Clean driving record and Valid Driver’s License
Excellent attendance, and team-player attitude
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, push/pull up to 50lbs frequently
Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours per day
