Job Summary: Apply mechanical skills and experience to install equipment on manufactured steel
tanks and subsystems. Performs varied tasks to include prep work, loading and unloading of
products, steel and parts.
REQUIREMENTS:
One year experience as an assembler using all common tools.
Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed.
Must be able to organize tools, parts and perform tasks in an efficient manner.
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
DUTIES: Uses products and processes that are varied and moderately complex to complex in scope
to install pumps, plumbing, valves and equipment on manufactured steel tanks and subsystems
consistent with customer and company standards. The level of work requires experience and sound
judgment to route plumbing and install equipment. Reads and interprets specifications and
documents to define the scope of work on work orders. Operate a variety of hand and power tools to
accomplish tasks. Always uses the appropriate personal protective equipment for the operation to be
performed. Assure that the weekly schedule is completed. Assure that work practices are in the
guidelines of OSHA standards. Maintain part shelves on the shop floor per company guidelines. Keep
work areas clean and organized. Assure that all products are built to the highest standard of quality.
Prepares surface with wire brush on tanks to be painted. Uses forklift to load and unload parts,
supplies and equipment.
Experience Required: 1 year preferred
Compensation:
Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 per Hour DOE
