We manufacture portable sawmills.
I need someone to work with me to make sure we 1) know what we have 2) know what we need and 3) get customers what they need ontime.
There will be different phases of this job:
1) inventory that we have. Manage products on the website. Help with MRP Guy with whatever he needs to get that database 'soft' implemented no later than Nov 1. Packing and shipping orders.
2) materials management for production. Making sure the guys have what they need to make the parts for inventory.
3) eventually phone orders and tech support.
This will be a 1099 contract job. That means it'll be like you're self-employed. You will have to handle your tax withholding and all that, I'm happy to help you with it.
Asking for at least 3 days a week - could do more. Super flexible. Just ask that you work entire days. Starts at 8:30a with a team meeting and then you'll have to be off by 4:45p to drop everything off at the post office or hardware store (UPS).
Pay is $22-$30/hr. Perks include hanging out with cool people making a super awesome product. We also make lunch for everyone, every day.
We've got kids and dogs all over the shop all the time. Weirdos need not apply.
