This is an hourly position with full benefits.
Job duties will be primarily in the warehouse.
This position will report directly to warehouse Shift Supervisor, daily, to determine assignment(s) for the shift.
Primary Job Functions will include:
Safely operate a hydraulic shear to process plate & sheet metal as specified on work orders & drawings. High quality work output and satisfactory quantity output are requirements the job. (The work areas are to be kept as clean as possible at all times)
Conduct maintenance equipment placed under your control as needed and required.
Safely operate other equipment in the processing department as assigned by your supervisor.
Safely operate a forklift & overhead crane to move materials to & from machinery.
These are not all-inclusive and will include other special projects assigned to you from time to time.
In addition to the above, you will maintain a pleasant professional attitude towards customers at all times.
You will work together with other employees to improve and increase business for Ram Steelco.
To produce parts as assigned on one of our machines in the Ram Steelco processing department. Moving of employees between processing stations to best utilize manpower, on an as needed basis, is standard operating procedure. Safety is always our #1 priority while working in our shop.
