We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction General Laborer on a part-time basis.
This role is essential for supporting our construction projects by ensuring a clean and safe environment and assisting in framing tasks. This position requires traveling to various job sites, primarily residential, outside of city limits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in cleaning and preparing construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards.
- Load and unload building materials and tools from work vehicles.
- Support carpenters and other construction staff in framing and other structural tasks.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks (e.g., digging, stacking sandbags, etc.).
- Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
- Help equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary.
- Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
- Observe company safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive to various locations outside of city limits.
- Proven experience as a general laborer in the construction industry preferred.
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Punctual and reliable team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Compensation: doe $18/hr
