DPI Staffing is hiring Food Production Associates to support day-to-day operations with one of our clients in Salem, OR. In this role, you’ll help process food products to exact customer specifications, ensure all documentation is accurate, and keep the production floor safe and clean.
Position: Food Production
Location: Salem, OR
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Full time, flexible hours; some overtime or weekend work may be required.
Job Scope:
Set up and operate production equipment (batch tanks, pumps, conveyors, etc.)
Inspect raw materials and final products for quality and accuracy
Maintain accurate batch and lot documentation
Operate forklifts or pallet jacks as needed
Follow all food safety and GMP standards
Keep work areas organized, clean, and safe
Support cooling systems and pre-production inspections
Perform other duties as assigned by production leads
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year of experience in food production or manufacturing
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Ability to lift, move, and operate equipment safely
Willingness to wear required PPE and follow safety protocols
Flexibility to work various shifts based on production needs
