DPI Staffing is actively looking for reliable and qualified Flaggers to join our team for multiple intermittent short assignments with state agencies. The Flagger will be essential in ensuring the safety of our work zones and maintaining smooth traffic flow.

Position: Certified Flagger

Location: Salem, Oregon

Schedule: Monday- Friday & On call.

Hourly Rate: $17.50 per hour

These assignments can be sporadic and of short duration

Key Responsibilities:

Traffic Control: Control and direct traffic in and around construction work zones to ensure the safety of workers and

motorists.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines related to flagging.

Communication: Effectively communicate with construction crews and other flaggers to coordinate traffic control efforts.

On-Call Availability: Be available for on-call assignments as needed. Usually at least 24 hours in advance notice

Requirements:

Valid Flagger's Card: Possess a valid flaggers card issued by the appropriate authorities.

Own Equipment: Must have your own flagging equipment, including paddles, reflective vest, and any other necessary gear.

Reliability: Be punctual and reliable for on-call assignments.

Safety Awareness: Prioritize safety and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure the safe flow of traffic.
