As a Cabinet Helper, you will play a crucial role in assisting the cabinet-making team and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Pettit Staffing is seeking a reliable and diligent Cabinet Helper to join our client’s team. As a Cabinet Helper, you will support the cabinet-making team in various tasks throughout the manufacturing process. You will assist with material handling, assembly, finishing, and other duties necessary for the production of custom cabinets.
Some Responsibilities:
1.Assist the cabinet-making team in material handling, including loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, and preparing workstations for production.
2.Support the assembly process by assisting in measuring, cutting, and shaping cabinet components using appropriate tools and equipment.
3.Help in the installation of hardware, such as hinges, knobs, and handles, ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
4.Aid in the sanding, staining, painting, or finishing of cabinets, following established procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in woodworking, cabinetry, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools used in cabinet-making.
